A d20 campaign parallel to a certain unnamed Palladium game

My suggestion would also be a combination of template and equipment. The best books for Technomagic and just plain magic campaigns would be Factory from Perpetrated Press and Chaositech from Malhavoc Press. Chaositech is especially appropriate and well done by Monte Cook, so it feels very balanced and should fit seemlessly into most campaigns. Add in the fact that they already have the Mutant template, which is what usually happens to those who use Chaositech for too long, and it is easy to see how to modify that into a less physical, more psychological template for the psionic "cyborg". The juicer I would probably keep as mostly equipment, although a standard cyber package would in affect create a template.

I just got a copy of Darwin's World Survivor's Handbook, and have not read it yet. Does anyone think that this would be a good book to use creating a d20 parallel to That-game-where-science-and-magic-coexist-along-with-multitudinous-interdimensional-rifts? I am wanting to run something d20 modern based, and I currently have the following resources that I am thinking of using:

d20 Modern, Menace Manual, Urban Arcana, Ultramodern Firearms, Blood and Space, Blood and Fists, Blood and Vigilance, Chaositech, d20 Mecha, d20 BESM, Darwin's World Survivor's Handbook

Can anyone name a must have book(s) to recreate the afore (un)mentioned setting? If so please share. I don't have d20 Future yet (being an unemployed full-time student is a bitch). Is there anything in d20 Future that I absolutely need, in anyones opinion?

I have been doing a conversion of this same heretofore-unmentioned game. So far its been fairly daunting to get it balanced (since the original rules broke down so quickly at even moderate power levels), but Im getting there. I've been using D20 Modern, Grim Tales, and Traveller T20 for this conversion. Im about 15-20 percent into this at this point, but so far so good.

If you need rules on Cybertech/Biotech, and can't afford D20 Future (which I thought did them okay), I would go with Atomik's Cybertek, downloadable from rpgnow.com for around $5. I thought it did a good job, if not better job than D20f did balancing cybernetics and biotech.

While a template seems to make sense, in actuality, an AdC works better, because the trained person can do far more than the neophyte.

Point taken. I'm actually interested in attempting to make such a class. Let's see what I can come up with in a few days

I would recommend using Mutants and Masterminds or d20 BESM rather than d20 modern/future. The *cough* world is extremely diverse and anything goes, and M&M and BESM both allow you to design anything and make conversions quickly.
