A d20 NPC Wiki?

I believe the entire purpose of the d100 NPC thread is something everyone can use, like the d100 buildings which was turned into a pdf and downloading here. But it does lack the searchability which is highly useful and in many cases necessary.

I agree. I think the Rogue's Gallery is great. But get a WiKi like search and suddenly it becomes really useful as one can quickly find a couple of NPCs they are looking for.

Well, the Wikicities proposal is still in proposal limbo. Since their only problem was that they thought the proposed name was not catchy enough, how about if you make any suggestions for a catchy name?

As a general question: do people want to hash out things like stat block templates and things here, or do we want to migrate the discussion to the Wiki itself?

Well, I had worked on a longer description while you were doing that at the same time. I posted that instead of your description - I hope you don't mind.

I'll also add some index pages soon, so please wait with further edits for an hour or so...

That is kind of the point . To be honest, I just wanted to experiment with the editting system; I wasn't expecting what I posted to be a long term addition to the site!

Well, the rough structure took me less time than I suspected, so it stands now. All it needs are some entries!

All my NPC stats and monsters I have worked out are back home, so I will add some of those once I get there today evening. But feel free to add what you have got in the meantime...
