A death in the Babylon 5 family

I only read about this today on CNN. Richard Biggs made Dr. Stephen Franklin seem like a real human being -- flawed, but capable of brilliance, compassion and courage. I am saddened for his family and friends. May he rest in peace, and may his loved ones be comforted in this sad hour.

Double post, but I will add something.

I last saw Richard Biggs on television in the NBC show Crossing Jordan, playing a doctor who was very different from Stephen Franklin. He portrayed a corrupt physician, who was scamming insurance companies, and was initially a murder suspect. I thought Biggs handled the role well, showing that even this character still had a hint of decency. (The character was not the murderer, by the way.)
