My iPod clickwheel went south on me, would only give me the "sad iPod" icon. Called on Wed. had a reshipping box at my house on Thru, and DHL picked it up Thur as well. Friday they reship a replacement iPod NDA. Will have it Monday morning.


On a tanget, does a computer device really need a "sad iPod" icon? What is this an iFruit?

Glad you had a good experience. You could also have done that through an Apple Store if you have one in your area. Though to do this, you will generally need to make an appointment ahead of time. But that is easy to do through Apple's web site under the stores section.

I did that when I was having a problem with the battery on my MBP. Showed up for the appointment and was out of there with a new battery in about half an hour once they'd run through some basic tests.
