Hey JS! How's it going! I want to thank you & the others for all the hard work you put in AGoT RPG! I just want you to know that it shows. Keep in touch! Maester Luwin

Iron Chef, I bow to your superior omniscience, since you clearly have all the facts in this case and can freely pass judgment in perfect knowledge.

You are the living embodiment of the last possible word on this matter.

Pointless as it may appear (to some) to do so, I'll just note here (as I have elsewhere in other times) that the AGoT RPG is one of the finest creations in the roleplaying world, including in that world's wide and colourful history. And in the world of d20 roleplaying, it is *the* finest creation I have encountered, bar none.

Really superb efforts by all involved, and this shows. I look forward greatly to the day I get to run a Song of Ice & Fire campaign using this book. Until then, it will continue to be a conversation piece and point of pride among my local roleplaying community.

LOL, thanks. I knew you'd see the light! But seriously, all the evidence points to GoO screwing everybody over--I've personally been screwed over multiple times by him for almost a year now and I'm mad as hell. Why should I give a care for Mark or his situation? That's his problem. This is a business transaction, not a friendship. Don't confuse the issue.

Here's a tangentially related question - What's David Pulver up to these days? I don't think he's updated his webpage this year. Is he writing GURPS stuff for SJG, or is he not doing game design at all anymore?

I concur.

Whoa. I went out and bought Ex Machina based only on Teflon Billy's review of it. Those five stars pale in comparison to the glowing recommendation Aus_Snow and TB just made for AGoT. I'm kind of embarrassed that I somehow missed TB's review...

I've never been disappointed going with a product Teflon Billy rated five stars. Grim Tales, Mutants and Masterminds 2nd, Blue Rose (which led to the fantastic True 20)... Guardians of Order may not be around anymore, but my FLGS just made a sale.

however, it's obviously very staged and "posey" looking. It lacks the proper sense of motion a more experienced artist would have given it. Plus, the horse on the left is making a stupid face and I don't think its body is sized correctly. ;)
I disagree with you whole heartedly, and think it's fantasticly done. it's a little sureal, but that's fine in fantasy.

Art, however, is a personal taste.

I hate seeing any company go under, but it was bound to happen considering they were asking for donations.

That being said, I will say that I thought the Game of Thrones book was superb and had great art.

What I think is their greatest creation is their Gamers Manifesto. There's a lot of truth there. Heck, I'd buy the rights to that little piece myself!
