Just a quick note to let everyone know that if you placed a pre-order for the Deluxe Edition of A Game of Thrones on the Guardians Of Order website by 18th September 2005 (signed or unsigned), your order has shipped to you. This includes all orders world wide.

Unfortunately, individual tracking numbers are still not available.

No information is available concerning orders placed on the Sword & Sorcery site.

Orders placed after 18 Sep 05 will be shipping next week.

I got the Deluxe Edition at GenCon and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Well, maybe if it was free.

The modifications GoO made to the d20 rules are fantastic, and worth the price of the book alone. There there's like 500 pages of other stuff besides.

But what about non-preorders? When are these books going to appear in stores? I just want the OGL version, not the tri-stat, but it's been quite the wait, and nobody seems to know when to expect the book.

Is the D20/OGL A Game of Thrones rulebook a paperback or a hardcover? Amazon seems to indicate it's paperback, but I was under the impression it was a hardcover..

You guys need to push it more though.....I talked to one of the guys in my group who's reading the novels, and had no idea an RPG was coming out, so I sent him the link to buy the book.

Most of our campaigning has been on-line for the past year, since we haven't had great response in the past from print advertising. Word-of-mouth and referrals is the best way to spread the word about a game, though, so we appreciate your efforts.

I'm still astounded that some people didn't know the book was coming out (though I could understand not knowing when, exactly). It's even mentioned on GRRM's site! Still, when the giant tome is sitting on retailer shelves, I'm sure people will see it.
