how would one play this kind of character without loosing paladin hood. it seems that it goes against the gnomish lifestyle, but it would be fun, so how would u play this character?

thats what my group does (im the DM)

Why should only the lawful good gods get champions?

i allow Paladins (Lawful), Avengers (Neutral), Chaos Knights (Chaotic)

Gnome paladin, that's nothing, you should see my Kobold Paladin, who truly believes that some members of his race has hope for reform. If he could there is hope for the rest, so he does his best to capture and convert all kobolds.

<sigh>

After the less than pleasant experience my paladin had with Meepo, I think it fair to say that you're a looney!

:)

lol. thanks angelboi, ill c if my dm will do that. as for enrious, along with the paladin, he is going to have previously been an inventor, and made a gnome catapul, which is portable and he takes around with him, and he has a parachute, so my group will launch him and he will be a paratrooper :D

now who's crazy? :D

I'd allow a Lawful Good paladin for Garl Glittergold. If not him, then one of the other happy-fun gnome types. As far as how the gnome would actually go about being lawful, I imagine, as gold and jewelry is part of the gnomish tradition, they'd be concerned with mostly with charity and helping those in desperate financial need. Quite a timely idea in the States, I must say. :)

Imagine your pint-sized champion of charity bursting into the evil prince's internal revenue vault, threatening miserily accountants with his short sword, or chasing the cowardly tax collecter who's skimming some gold off the top of his debtors' payments down the street with a mighty battle cry.

I would play him as a paladin who knows not to take himself too seriously.

Come to think of it, that's how I'd play _any_ paladin.
