A horrible thought!!! (OotS)

I just thought of something horrible. When D&D upgraded to 3.5 Rich Burlew upgraded the OotS cast in kind. Now the creators of the game have stated that they aren't releasing any rules regarding the conversion, because it doesn't work that way and you'll have to just start over....

So, what happens to the OotS gang... do they one day fight Xykon and the next Roy is there, V is altered, and Elan is deleted? What about The alternate guild? Are they even going to be viable? Has anyone else contacted WotC about this impending tragedy? OMG, OMG, OMG...WE HAVE TO STOP 4#......OotS IS IN DANGER!!!!

AAAAARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!

Yeah, issue #1 of the comic featured the upgrade ruining all those 3.0 comics that came before it.

Given rich's apparent health issues, i suspect the OOTS will end before they get to the end of the campaign, like many, many D&D campaigns.

I think he's had health issues for just about the entire run of the comic, and it certainly doesn't seem to be curtailing his output at the moment.

I for one expect comedic hijinks to ensue when 4th Edition comes upon the Order. Or perhaps that's what the Snarl is? :)

Elan won't be deleted. He just won't be a bard any more.

No more "Bluff, bluff, bluff the stupid ogre", but no doubt replaced by something equally funny.

so he won't suck anymore. and heck he might actually be a contributing member to the oots as a pc instead of just comic relief.
