[A.I.M.] Deadly Games [PG - 17]

Somewhere along the western coast of South America
Luxe villa/covert A.I.M. deployment facility

7pm

A gust of wind blows up the sand arround you while the roaring sound of a helicopter rings your ears. With narrowed eyes you all peer over your dust covers before your faces and see a black silouet touch down bathing in the red light of the setting sun. As you cover your eyes when the helicopter blades slow down and the last gust of dust is blown across the sandy landing pad you hear the helicopter doors slide open and when the sand settles down you see three men emerging from the helicopter.

The pilot walks over to one of the two men and pads him on the back and together they head towards the villa past the pool. The other guy walks towards you three. When he approaches you can make out a heavily muscled dark skinned male. He appears not to be the youngest any more but the way he moves and with the expression on his face he seems to be one mean mofo and most certainly not one to get clever with.

Follow me.

With few words and a hand gesture he beckons you to follow him. He heads for one of the side builings of the villa where he takes out a pass and slides it through a slid appearantly designed for it. This followed by an iris scan produces the hardly hearable but distinctive clicking sound of a just unlocked door. The man opens the door and beckons you to go inside.

Once inside he closes the door again and you find yourselves between dozens of crates and a large blackboard with several words and markings on them at the end of the rather large room. The man walks towards the end, gazes through some papers and then sits down ontop of the desk in front of the blackboard.

I'm Guss Tarballs, I'm running the official diplomatic connections between A.I.M. and several offical government institutions around the world. I arrange for them stuff they cannot do or aren't allowed to officially themselves. Guess what you are all doing today?

A moment of silences follows.

Indeed! Nothing at all! You catch on quick or have been here before. In either case, this never happened.

He gets up from the desk and proceeds to draw some stuff on the blackboard. It appears like a map and a number of objectives. Afterwards he proceeds to check some stuff on a paper and then puts three crates down in front of you.

One for everyone.

This gentlemen, are your toys from A.I.M. for today and as such are to be returned afterwards Because you all will return.

He then proceeds to sits back down on the desk and face you three with a solemn look.

Listen up. Today's work will be insert and rescue, quick and simple. One of this countries diplomats, euhm well spies, has been caught by a rebel militia that has been annoying that regime quite alot lately. They are believed to be currently beating the :):):):) out of the captive as we speak and we are to penetrate the prison facility and recover the targt or kill him if obstructed in completing the mission in any other way.

He picks up a pointer and points at the prison facility blueprint on the blackboard.

He you can see the facility is farely small and also used for retaining some local criminals and other little criminals so we are suspecting that the guerillas have a secret underground level where they are conducting their practices.

We were confirmed in our beliefs that the prisoners was being kept here by the recent devellopment that a rebel colonel has been dispatched towards the acility. The mission will be as follows.

The time pressure is great and the window of oppertunity is small. You are to board the helicopter and intercept the colonel. After interception Boddy will take the colonels position so he is to be subdued or killed without messing up his uniform. He shall proceed towards the facility and kill the gate guards and set off an explosive device there to create chaos and attract the guards. Besides the c4 explosiev device he will find a Light Antitank Weapon in his crate. This is to be used against any interesting targets to provide more chaos. Suggested targets are the fuel depot which you are able to spot clearly from the gate and the wardens house, electricity generator is on the opposite side of the main building and falls out of your sight and reach. After entering the complex and taking out the guards and setting off the explosive device in his jeep and blow up the fuel depot with your LAW you are to hold your position and continue to provide a destraction. After the mission is completed you are to retreat on foot into the surrounding desertyou will be picked up by helicopter on the designated time and location. You will fid these in your crate with your equipment.

As for the other two of you, when all hell breaks loose when mister Boddy here lights a few fuses you are taken in by helicopter and dropped on the roof of the facility. There you are to blow yourselves a hole into the roof and enter the main building. You are supplied with plenty teargas and smoke grenades and gasmasks to hinder your enemy and create chaos and confusion. Meanwhile you are to locate the access to the underground level and rescue or eliminate the target. Fotos and ways of identifacation are included in your crates. Afterwards you are to set off a beacon and you will be extracted from the point you entered by rope and helicopter through the roof. The clock is tikking people. Make it happen!

The man claps his hands and you all pick up your crates and run for the helicopter.

Once inside the helicopter immediatly takes off and sets of into the setting sun. You all open you crates and peek at their contents. Ontop of one of them is a crumbled note which says that when the helicopter flies over you might be able to take out the power supply and if the facility has no backup which is likely for the small primitive building complex you are able to penetrate under cover of darkness. UV-Goggles are right beneath the note and everyone finds that they have one in their crate.

Is what you find in your crates.

Soon the sea below you turns into green woods and the voice of the pilot sound through your headsets.

There's our first target boys, he seems alone in his jeep. U go takem down.

And with those words the helicopter takes a sharp dive down towards earth and dust. The pilot brings the chopper down right before the jeep which he tries to force to stop. But the man in it pulls his pistol and starts firing at the helicopter. Two bullets rip through the passenger area behind the pilot and two bullets rip through the metal right between Boddy's feet.

The driver of the jeep runs out of bullets and tries to reload but as he does so he loses controll over his steering wheel and the jeep flips over and rolls of the road... The chopper turns around and lands about 30 yards from the jeep. You three have jumped off it before it had even touched the ground, locked and loaded.

As you approach the jeep you see the twisted and bloody boddy of the colonel lying below it...

"Served him right."
Abe checks the vehicle, and if the guy is really dead or if he still has a polse. After that, he scans the area, using the jeep to stay out of sight.
 


"S:):):)," Rabid says as the colonel lies there bleeding on his uniform, "Well we better finish it."

Fred drags the colonel out and breaks his neck with a hard twist of his head.

"Nobody, how about you pretend to be the driver?" Rabid suggests, "If there's a radio use that, you could say that the colonel has been injured in an assasination attempt and that they're the closest place for assistance. You could say you're fleeing from them, like a car chase, and you need immediate backup. They send people, you put an explosive charge on the fuel tank. Then when they check the colonel you could set off the charge on the fuel tank, fried guerilla mince. You then take out another vehicle if you need to with the LAW, they'll probably send more people out here so thats when you run like you've got a steak jammed in your ass and there's a bunch of hungry Rotweilers in pursuit. Lincoln and I proceed with mission as planned and hope that the number of personnal at the compound has been reduced by this distraction, we'll have to blow the gate ourselves. That sound like a good alternative people?"
 

Nathan will look over the colonel's body closely, examining it to see if the any of the clothes and equipment can be salvaged. "Don't kill him yet, I'd like to hear his voice first, if I can," Nathan asks.

"Well, isn't this great . . . was the colonel alone? I was too busy dodging bullets to see if there was someone else in here. I think one of those bullet actually took some hair off me."

Nathan will try and salvage what he can from the colonel and take clothes from other if there is one available. He will see if the three of us can roll the jeep back onto its wheels and get it going again.

Nathan listens to Rabid's idea and adds to it "I think I can make this work. I'll put on the bloody clothes, I cut myself a little (or have one of you with a little medical expertise do the deed - you know, a couple of light bleeder spots) and I'll arrive at the camp all in a bluster about being attacked. I'll have them send out troops way off to find those that did this to me and make them pay - thinning the forces, then go to work blowing things up."
 

"I like your way of working Rabid. A lot. But before we proceed I suggest checking out the area, if there isn't another way in. Like a back door or something. We have no idea how many guerilla warriors there still are in the compound, and we might want to know where we're heading, right?"

Abe hops in the Jeep, checking out what the colonel had stashed in it.
 

With united strength the three dusty men succeed in pushing over the jeep. With a thump it lands in the sand sending off some dust with the wind that seems to be picking up. The jeep wobbles on its wheel and then settles down, leaving the broken body of the colonel behind in the dust.

Abe hops into the jeep and checks whats in it. His eye quickly catches a briefcase stashed under the co-riders seat. In it, several documents and a clearance pass with the colonels picture on it. He puts the briefcase right next to him and searches the rest of the vehicle while Rabid opens up the hood of the jeep and checks out some of the mechanics and if they are still intact.

Fumbling through some stuff on the back seat, like a coat and some bags Abe raises an eyebrow when he opens the "colonel's" weekend bag... In it a large kit with several hair color washings in them, wigs, mustaches, a whole makeup kit and more.

His hands going over the body of the colonel while he strip searches him uncovers a pistol, a bug microphone in his collar and a very small ear plug. The colonel doesn't seem to have any cuts exept for one across his left arm. For the rest his body lies in an unnatural position, probably what killed him, and some blood seeping from his mounth onto his uniform. As Nathan gets up and starts pondering he spots a wallet about two feet away from the body in the dust. In it another clearance and ID-card, 200$ and some phone numbers and an email adress or two.

Something about the card catches Nathan's eye and with a good look and inspection he finds and easily concludes that the rebels make lousy passes or this one is obviously a fake. Made by some amature.

Rapid reappears from under the hood with the conclusion that the jeep should be fine and able to drive. Everything seems to be ok with it mechanically.
 

"I think we just hit someone else who wanted to infiltrate the compound." Abe says with a large grin across his face. "Too bad for him he sucked at it."

Hopping out of the car again, Abe puts the bag with disguise stuff next to him, and the briefcase in front of him. "I wonder what he kept in here." Taking his time opening the suitcase, Abe looks at the contents.
 

In the briefcase are an ID-card with the colonels face on it, on the other side of it is a magnetic strip. Most likely a security pass is what you make of it. Besides it are several papers, among them an official document with orders to interrogate a prisoner.

Further more there is a map of the compound in the briefcase and some letters and papers with some signatures on them, one obviously has been to practise while the other seems to be some sort of document to grant passage.
 

"Ha! I'd say we botched someone's attempt to do something. I doubt it was the government 'cos they hired us to do this. I reckon an outside entity wants what this government spy knows, me thinks it'd be better to knock him off seeing as we were given the all clear to do so. The guy can take it to the grave as far as I'm concerned, makes it safer," Rabid says, patting the USP strapped to his thigh, "Anyway lets get this straight, are we keeping with the original plan or mine?"
