I wouldn't do it. Too wierd thinking of some person out there with my genetics or even worse, some lab tech growing fetuses for medical use with my genetic materials. That would drive me nuts.

If you're horribly against it, then don't do it - especially in this case. Once you've donated, they're out there for good. Depending on the type of person you are, you may never be able to forget that some of your genetics are out there for the rest of your life.

I once donated my repressed Bostonian accent to science. Got $10 for it. I didn't think anything of it, at first. But recently, as I'm trying to go to sleep, I sometimes think I hear someone, just outside my window, whispering, "Pahk the cah ovah at Hahvahd."

Is it my mind playing tricks on me? A cruel practical joke? Or something far, far more sinister?

Yeah, my decision was not to do it. Even besides the morality thing, there's a lot of hassle leading up to it, and I don't think I could inflict my crappy genes on anyone, much less an unsuspecting fetus.
