Another excellent episode.

This week's juvenile bit in the opening: horse poop.

Also, are horses that smart? It nodding at the appropriate times when Egg was talking was obviously silly fun, but could a horse trainer get a horse to charge in response to Egg's verbal command? I honestly don't know -- that's too big of an animal for me to mess with.

And man, prince or no prince, if Dunk ever looked at me with the kind of fury he did at the end of the episode, I'd cross the Narrow Sea and start a new life in Bravos on the spot.

Not up do date with third episode, just wanted to chime in that I enjoyed the second episode much more and start to be invested in the characters and Duncans participation in the tournament. I really enjoy the low stakes.

I haven't read the book(s?) but I gotta admit that the reveal came as no surprise to me. Maybe I've seen too many books/shows at this point!

I mean it was uber obvious in episode 2 when they were talking and Egg kept getting nervous anytime someone mentioned the Targs. I think dude's surprised girlfriend is either the "typical" modern viewer half on their phone, or someone who has never seen tv or heard of tropes.

Are we taking shots at each other's significant others on this board now?
no, I didn't mean it negative. Just looking for reasons to not have seen it coming by ep 3

edit to elaborate: To elaborate - nothing wrong with being on your phone. Nothing wrong with not knowing tropes. I didn't say "she's a dummy who's on her phone or an ignoramous who doesn't know tropes"
