I don't know if the cover is public yet, but we saw it on a slide. Had a goliath looking guy with a huge axe and a female elf with two ghostly panthers she seemed to be summoning/controlling. Barbarian and shaman perhaps.

Yeah, that cover is on the WotC product site as well as amazon.com now.

I'm assuming this is pretty much set:

Barbarian - Primal Defender
Bard - Arcane Leader
Druid - Primal Hybrid
Sorcerer - Arcane Controller
Shaman - Primal Leader

This leads us with I, T, W, and there's one controller in the bunch, probably Divine. Add another Divine and another Primal class ... I'd guess they'd both be strikers, simply because we have none confirmed and neither power source has a striker. Option 2, that'd I'd kinda prefer, is one of those Divines is another Hybrid, so Druid wouldn't be the only Hybrid class running around. Evidence doesn't seem to support it though.

This means PH2 will have:

2 Leaders, 2 Controllers, 2 Strikers, 1 Hybrid and 1 Defender for it's 8 classes.

Add the 8 PH1 classes and the Swordmage, and our 17 classes break down into:

4 Defenders
4 Leaders
5 Strikers
3 Controllers
1 Hybrid

Sound about right?

I don't anticipate it will be as evenly distributed like that. I mean, we got the PHB with three strikers and one controller.

WotC has said as much, that they don't plan on having all the roles represented in some power sources, they're not going after needless symmetry, etc.
