I think Ronin Arts may be the first publisher at RPGNow to hit 1,000 comments. And with a 4.2 (out of 5) average, I'm very proud of our record.

You should be proud.

Your work is fast becoming (If it isn't already) a benchmark for quality in the PDF industry.

Cheers Phil, and here's to another 1000 comments!

Congrats, Phil! :)

May you receive 2000 more comments all with high ratings.

[rain on parade]Good going, but it was inevitable when you look at the per product ratio. 1,000 comments / 376 products is an average of less than 3 comments per product. [/rain on parade]

Look at WotC's numbers at RPGNow.

Congrats Phil!

As a new publisher who recently entered the market, I have a question, though - how do you encourage comments? Is it even possible to influence people to leave comments? Is a lack of comments a sign of the quality (or lack thereof, which I secretly fear) of a particular product? How many copies of a product do you normally have to sell before you see a comment about it?

Congrats again, and thanks in advance for any advice you might have. :)

Unfortunately, there are no good tricks. I've tried several things but nothing really convinces people to leave comments. They do or they don't as they see fit. Luckily, some people like to comment on everything that they purchase so this helps.
