Making very sure to remain as hidden as possible, Caedren opens the south door very slowly to avoid and creaking noises the old wood might make. With utmost caution he peers through the crack of the door.

The view from the tower.

Caedren looks through the crack in the door to the wall. He can see nothing on the top of the wall. It seems to be clear.

After much deliberation, and finally a mutual understanding, the party desides to make a dash across the wall to the top of the stair. Caedren weilding his mighty longsword, steps through the door. Following is Aerlyn, the fair elf, gripping her spear. And bringing up the rear is the fearless Dravis, also with a spear in hand.

Across the ramparts.

Caedren moves out of the tower. Momentarily dazzled by the sun's light, he pauses briefly. A sudden shout comes up, from somewhere in the courtyard. Caedren starts to run, followed closely by the other two. A quick, vicious low thrum passes in front of Caedren (Attack Roll - 9), and another bolt then zips past Dravis, (Attack Roll - 6). Caedren throws himself behind the chapel building, Aerlyn coming to a more graceful stop. Dravis stops as well, pressing himself against the back wall of the chapel. The Druid then looks around the corner of the wall. He can see an orc crouched on the other wall, reloading a crossbow. He can't see where the other shot came from.
(A - 8, C - 14, D - 14, Orcs - 12)

Dravis leans cautiously around the corner and loads his sling. Carefully taking aim he twirls it and lets the bullet loose towards the orc.

Aerlyn quickly peaks around the corner to assess the situation and to see if she can get an idea of where the other orc may be.

(OOC-Sorry for the delayed response!)

Ceadren peering around the stone wall looks at the orc across the court yard. Drawing an arrow from his quiver, he sets it in his bow and looses it at the orc. With lightning speed he grabs another arrow and sends it flying through the air behind the other.

(OOC - Sorry for the late post! I'm gonna call today (my Sat. afternoon your Sun. morning.)
