This was inspired by a story a friend of mine wrote.
It's the modern day, and there's this loser. He's a nice guy, not mean at all, he's just really honest, which doesn't win him too many points. He's not attractive, and a lot of people overlook him. Your classic loser, with no redeeming qualities except that he expects practically nothing from life.
The devil meets him and asks him on a date. As we all know, the devil is a beautiful woman, but she has this little credibility problem in that no one trusts her enough to date her. This guy can't believe a hot woman is asking him out, but because he doesn't really care enough to worry, he goes along for the ride.
Well, meanwhile, hell is freezing over. Maybe it's just because the big guy is gone and isn't keeping the home fires burning, or maybe it's because a loser like this actually got a date. Either way, a pair of demons get sent to earth to bring you-know-who back to hell. They end up trying to kill the loser guy, but the devil banishes the demons, then realizes how much she cares for this loser of a human. She realizes she has to go home, but she promises to commute and spend time with him.
They live happily ever after for decades, until finally our loser is hit by a truck. Realizing he'd never committed a sin in his life, he quickly blasphemed and was allowed to go to hell with the woman he loved.
