A quick one: Help me find where this rule is.

I seem to remember seeing somewhere a rule about being able to enchant Bracers or Armor to add some of the armor special abilities (like Fortification, or Shadow, etc). I could have sworn it was in a book I own, but I didn't find it, meaning it must have been in a book I had only looked at but not purchased. It was really only just a short blurb on how this was an option if the DM allowed it, and gave you an extended price list for bracers in case the total bonus went past +8.

Anyone know what book this was in?

First of all, thanks for the answer.

Second, having read the rest of the thread, a thought occured to me. Has anyone ever broached the subject of having a "Quick Answers" thread on this messageboard? Maybe a sticky thread here in Rules, where people could ask these really simple questions and get a fast answer. Things like "What page is Rule X on?" and "What's the crit range for weapon Y?"

This would be a no-discussion thread - just questions and answers, restricted to things that could be answered in a short sentence or less. So, would this work?
