I just left some condolences, although unfortunately logged in as a guest. My heart goes out to his family. He was a great guy.

He was. Dragonsfoot has been one of the greatest and most important sites on the net.

This is not good news.

I also left a message as a guest. I wish Mark's family and friends comfort in this sad hour.

MerricB,

When someone I have loved has died, I have tried to reflect on what was important about them. Perhaps the best thing that the Dragonsfoot community can do now is to comfort Mark's family and try to keep the site alive and running.

I hope they do; it's a wonderful spot. That Mark could keep it going while struggling with bone marrow transplants was a wonder in itself.

Bummer. My heart goes out to his family. I know the Dragonsfoot community is an extremely strong and tight one. Hopefully that will buoy their spirits in this difficult time.

Jay

A truly sad day indeed. I just found out the unfortunate news myself. I've began posting on the DF for over a year now, Piratecat having simultaneously told me about it and ENWorld. Mark will truly be missed.
