A Single system of magic, no division of divine and arcane?

Does anybody have rules for anything like that(with no division between divine and arcane)? I know Arcana Unearthed is gonna have rules for it, but I can't wait that long!

I run a d20, Call of Cthulhu-style game with just one 'supernatural stuff' class. It's a spell-point based system with skill checks to cast spells. The spell list is pretty much just 'tell me what you want to do, and I'll tell you what level it would be'. It's designed for a low-magic setting with the Grim and Gritty hit point rules, so things are generally lower powered than they would be in a standard D&D setting - particularly damage-dealing magic and healing. At the moment, it's accomodating... a half-vampire, a werejaguar, a witch, a paladin, and a Buddhist monk. All have at least a level or two of Adept.

If you'd like to take a look at the (really skeletal) rules I've got for it, let me know, and I'll put them up on a web page somewhere.

well...you can just house rule it and cut the classes down to MAGE, allowing the MAGE to cast all the spells listed in the PHB.

IMC Their is no division between Arcane and Divine. All power comes from the Spirits and the Shaman (Druid) and Priest may cast divine spells or call upon the Spirits to invoke Arcane powers (ie Miracles) -NB many of the Arcane spells are however not available IMC)

There you go, blackshirt. Zipped doc files. If you have a problem reading that, let me know, and I'll send you something else. Most of the stuff relevant to your question is in Classes.doc and Rules.doc in that zip.

As I said, it's basically campaign notes for my group - it's not by any stretch of the imagination a final product. Still, the ideas are there. If you have any questions or would like to see sample characters, let me know.

Rokugan has only one type of magic, too (Elemental Magic), though the four elements divide it, too (i. e., All Healing is in Water, the best attack spells are in Fire, and so on), though you can learn spells from multiple Elements. You can find the rules for it in both OA and the Rokugan campaign setting.
