there are a couple of volcanoes in Iceland that are over due, that could cause some major issues for the northern hemisphere.

Perhaps.

Some dude blowing an old horn in England don't qualify as Heimdallr blowing HIS horn.

York, is just a place we raided back in the days before we had a football team. Thus, like our football team, hardly qualifies as significant.

And I haven't seen Skoll yet. Show me some missing sun.

So I call BS on Ragnarok. Ain't time yet.

Honestly, I'm surprised this wasn't satirical. Though at least it isn't some New-Agey, pseudo-Native pile of tripe like the 2012 one. As someone who is pretty well familiar with Norse mythology (as my username should indicate), I can't say that any of the precursory events have happened yet. For example, it's preceded by 3 years of total, global war, brother against brother, father against son, and so on. We're honestly no more at the mass slaughter bit than we have been for the entire past of human civilization. Sol's still here, as is Luna. And I really doubt that someone managed to blow the horn of a god.
