A Wish List for D&DM figures.

I don't really want any specific unique characters. I don't mind if they do them as long as they also happen to fill in a gap such as more female arcane spellcasters, younger male arcane casters with hair, fat wizards or rogues, skinny ones, etc. Right now we have an overabundance of athletic male human fighter-types with swords and old male bald wizard types. We need more variety to represent PCs and NPCs in D&D games. But even more so than any PC or NPC type, I would really like to see all the core monsters from the Monster Manual represented at least once soon. We still have not gotten a gorgon, stirge, cockatrice, nightmare, nighthag, greenhag, annis, sea hag, marilith, nalfeshnee, hydra, etc. Those core monsters from the Monster Manual is what I'm missing most from the DDM line.

I would like to see all further humanoid sculpts of non-uniques come out in two versions, male and female. For the love of Ao, more gnomes! Not many, but a few would be helpful!

I will second this. It would be nice to have a Bag o' Orcs or Bag o' Halflings, or even Military Units with consistent uniforms/outfits.

Yeah, that sounds like a cool idea. Theme packs for groups commonly found together. Bandits/ruffians, guards, townsfolk, goblins, undead, animals... all sorts.

More PC quality mini's would be cool too. I remember back in the 80's Citadel (I think) did three piece theme packs where each mini represented a character class at different stages of his career. An apprentice wizard, adventuring wizard and archmage wizard all in one pack for instance. Make them packs with males and females, maybe different races, and you could add Bag o' Wizards, Bag o' Fighters, Bag o' Rangers etc to the list.

I'm pretty sure those were Ral Partha, weren't they?

Which? The one with the wings machine-gunned off, or the exploded-head one? :)
The one with him lowering down to the ground dramatically, wings spread, in front of the cathedral. :)

Also, now that I'm looking at your screen name and thinking about it, a bunch of minis based on the Infocom stuff would be really cool, too. Never happen, but would be cool. :)

Yeah, they would... I'd personally would like to see the lean & hungry gentleman Thief, the Troll with bloody axe, the heavily-robed & feature-indeterminate Dungeon Master, brogmoids, discipline crabs, Christmas tree monsters, perhaps some Flatheads; Lucy Flathead, Antharia Jack, Brog, Griff, Marvin the Goatfish, Floyd the Bouncer, Y'Gael, Wartle, "Unit Red", and Mir Yannick from Grand Inquisitor.

Grues would just be rough to make a mini of. Maybe a ultra-are-exclusive mini of a Grue (which shows what it looks like, ala the Zork text-based mini-adventure released as a teaser before the release of Grand Inquisitor). Otherwise, it'd just be a blank base--didn't think the Grue mini would stick around in any sort of lighting conditions, either.
