A wizard in Ravenloft.

Joel,

Well I guess I should have quantified that statement by saying it's hard on unsmart, non-horror experienced PCs. Especially if they start failing power checks.

No problem, I know you are thinking like me on this, since you know what RL si about. I was just aiming at correcting this (undeserved) "PC grinding" reputation that RL-setting might still have with some people badly informed :)

As for the spoiler, eh it's a minor detail. I'm always more interested in seeing more traditional aspect of Ravenloft, with lots of undead instead of abberations.

Yeah, why so many tentacles and fiends :) Alas, Strahd must be going mad to tolerate all this in his home :)

Shades, have fun with this adventure (it's a good adventure, it's just that it's miles away from the original I-6 IMHO). So let us know of your comments and impressions!

rearched level seven and began to think of a progression.

Thinking of doing the following (character's pretty much set in stone, but trying to figure out my path):

Level 8 - wizard 8 (so I can get those 5 ranks of gambling.)
Level 9 - wizard 8/fatespinner 1 .
Level 10 - Wizard 8/fatespinner 1/Argent Savant 1
and then alternate between the two prestige classes

also figured out something
1st level - takes 36 minutes - - 12 gp 5 sp +1 XP

going to try to get some bonus xp and use it to make a couple of scrolls for utility, I think between the ring sustenence and a 12 hour rope trick, it should be doable.
