Freedom of Movement, good but expensive. Add it to a Hand of Glory (I think that's the one) which is a necklace slot item that lets you wear a ring, and also lets you see invisible once per day (I've known people to take the item just for that).
DDoor is great, so is contingency: DDoor.
Gaseous Form hasn't been meantioned yet, I think. Most others I had to meantion have been. Begnign transposition (First level, Miniatures Handbook) is also an interesting spell to have to "avoid" a grapple. Close range, two willing targets switch places, so both targets must be willing, but it's fun when the enemy grapples the puny mage and he transposes into the spiked armor wearing raging barbarian.
Cape of the Mountebank or Boots of Teleportation (or, if you're allowed to customize some, boots of DDoor X/Day) are also useful anti-grapplers. You could also with some customization have a grease spell X/day on your robes or cloak or whatever. ^_^
Boots with DDoor 3/day is much cheaper than a ring of Freedom of Movement, and normally that combined with a contingency is more than you'll need... plus it has the occasional other misc bonus (IF you want to give up some of that grapple security). Magic items like this are also good against the MageBane feat, which if your GM is REALLY gunning for you he'll use.
And don't forget Elder Basilisk's point to ALWAYS be capable of an AoO. Get a dagger with the "Skillful" enchant from... Complete Arcane? Something like that, makes you weild it with 3/4 BaB. It's just plain shortsighted to not be carrying SOMEthing, especially now that you've experienced the occasional need for it.
