The kley that you recieved is actualy just ornamental...Its only purpose was to serve as a sort of transportation device from the vaults to this extradimensional library.

The doori tself appears to have a magical lock active, the tail sign of of the almost imperceptable want of vault door to shut being there, but with the door not completely shut, they are inactive.

The piece of metal seems to be nothing more than a small piece of watermarked, entirely unimpressive rusty steel.

" Does it really matter who got here first? " says Makharat, annoyed. " Their only reward shall be do die under our blades. "

Nodding with a neutral look upon his scarred face, either at Nuria's description of the Vault Door's properties or Makharat's bold words, perhaps even both, Wulfcyne draws an arrow and boots open the heavily enscrolled stone door, grunting with the effort. If the door swings open, the soldier grows toward the Waster, 'After ye, Sir.'

So as you proceed into the vault you can see tihs where a lot ofthe real research is filed. There are large stacks of loose leaf papers, bound by clips and such. The vault looks like it could be organized, but it is clear that the librarians here have a tall order, for there is more material than space in specific categories.

The room is basically a two-level room connected by a few ladders. In the middle of the room there is a large table. The upper level has books and papers stack highly and cannot be seen from the lower level, where you are now.

Standing near Koh'Tara, the looming warrior readies his large bow, notching an arrows as he switches between covering the gallery above and the stacks below. Grunting at the two women's talk of hostiles, Wulfcyne growls, 'I'll follow yer lead, Koh'Tara. Though if'in they got weapons drawn, I ain't gonna lower mine wit out a damn good reason.'

To the entire group, the veteran mentions, 'Wary an ambush, yon papers be 'nough ta hide an ogre! Aye, whada mess, 'ow we 'ppossed ta find what we lookin' fer?'

Indeed Wulfcyne, it will be extremely difficult to find what we are looking for in here. On the plus side, it will be equally difficult for everyone else as well. Nuria relies as she looks at the mess of papers around the room.
