As Nuria and Koh'Tara search through the papers they come to have the entire thing organized and through basic skimming can surmise that theresearch was being done to enhance the effects of dragonmarks,making use of them to create even more powerful magic effects, however, it appears as though all of the experimental data has been taken as well as the description of the process.

From our brief search of the papers, we have discovered that the research here was to find a way to enhance the abilities of the dragonmarks. Possibly to find a way to enable those blessed with them to do other magical things. However, the actual research data as well as the results are missing. My guess is that our 'friends' found it first. We mus find them and recover this information.
