A1- Lost Knowledge of Arcanix(Wik Judging)

Dean Grey scratches his head for a moment " Well, there is a simple way to find out"

He begins chanting the long words of a divination and sits there in a trancelike silence for a moment
He slowly opens his eyes " The research is headed southeast....to Sharn"

That figures. We travel all this way to the University only to have to turn around and head back to Sharn. I was hoping to spend more time here. Oh well, it can't be helped.

Turning to the group,

So it's back to Sharn then. I think we need to try to determine where the research is headed. Is it for the Tarkanan family or for someone else? Kundurak, Cannith South, the Arum, or others?

Looking at Wulcyne, Nuria adds,

Wulfcyne, I understand you have a distrust of House Cannith for some reason. I assure you they are not all bad. A few, yes, but most of them are fine citizens. I speak from personal experience and the dealings I have had with them over the years.

Dean Grey looks at you troubledly " Well, listen, I do need this research back. The vaults aren't going anywhere, and the security breach will need to be resolved. I do hope you will come back if we need you and trust me, your promised reward will be here when you get back"

Wulfcyne asks of the Dean, 'Can ye magic us near the research? Or perhaps lend us some o' yer Dragonhawks ta fly us there? We need ta get there quick, neh?'

Turning to Nuria, the large warrior gives a nasty smile as he continues, 'Lady, ye misunderstand. I know tha Tinkers be fine...even if their House be disinta'gratin' 'round their ears. Wha' ye don' know is that one o' their fine members done come up to us others while we traveled here, ta offer us a better price ifin' we were ta steal the papers from Master Gray here, and bring them back ta Cannith. That enough o' a reason ta suspect them? Oh yeah, an a Kundarick who was of the Arum propositioned us'in too. Mayhap it be hims? At any rate, we need ta go. Now.'

The looming soldier looks back to the Dean for his answer.

Makharat sighs, and says, " I detest this running about, crossing half the continent to get here just to go back again as soon as we have arrived. Next time, I will be sure to gut the fool before he has a chance to escape. I have lost my taste for taking prisoners for the time being. "

Grimacing, he pokes gingerly at his wound from the previous battle. " Maybe once you've had a nights rest to recover your damned energies, one of you would like to do something about this. I would hate to think that I, the so-called villain, am so generous as to step in and keep my comrades from being run through, without receiving a little first aid in return. I might start thinking that none of you were serious about watching each other's back, and act accordingly. "

Turing to Mahkarat, Nuria asks Has something transpired between you and the rest of the group which I am unaware of? Have you been unjustly accused of something or is it merely your appearance that disconcerts the others? You will get a chance at revenge on the Tarkanan family. As long as we can obtain the missing research for the Dean.

Addressing the rest of the group, Nuria's tone becomes more serious.
If something has occurred between certain members of this group which could impede our ability to act as a team and complete our mission, I need to know now before we go any further. I need to know that I can count on each one of you. We all need to know that we can rely on each other.

Makharat closes his eyes as the soothing energy washes over him, repairing the worst of the damage done earlier. " Why thank you, Lady Valahandra, " he says, smiling bitterly.

Turning to Nuria, he responds, " I blame that worm back in Sharn. After he made some rather uncomplimentary remarks about my character, I threatened to rip out his tongue, and maybe kill him too. A few of our companions found my bluntness objectionable, but I think most of us have worked out our differences... "

The looming warrior stays silent for a moment, only chuckling malaciously to himself.

Looking from Nuria to Makharatn and back, the Brelander mentions, 'I ain't knowin' what the Waster be sayin' about no worms...But it's true he an' we had some trouble o' sorts. Nuthin' ta go inta, the clerics will be healin' the frontliners, an' no doubt there. So, we best keep our'in chins up an' finish tha damn mission. Agreed?"

This last the warrior directs to the Orange Skinned Demon Waster.
