Dragonhelm
Knight of Solamnia
I have been playing a psionic halfling in my friend's Spelljammer game. This is using the 2014 rules.
Basically, he was a street rat whose home burned down. He felt lonely, and a being reached out through the cosmos to comfort him. The being was a great old one, but a child, and he too felt lonely. BTW, his patron is a cosmic version of Psyduck.
I have statted him as an aberrant mind sorcerer 5 / great old one warlock 2.
When the recent psion playtest came out, the DM had my character meet a psion NPC, who taught my character some ways to more fully tap into his inner potential. He said that I could multiclass into psion.
It's a neat concept as far as multiclassing goes, but there is some overlap (i.e. with spells). There multiple forms of telepathic speech as well.
Also, the DM is using spell points (which is great for psionic characters!). He said to apply that to the warlock spells too.
So, I'm wondering what you all think of this multiclass combo, both good and bad.
Thanks in advance.
