K Kyramus First Post Jan 31, 2003 #2 you forget to take into account that you GAINED 2 con when you got the toad which includes a change in HP of 4 HP. when the toad dies, you LOSE 2 con and there fore lost the 4 HP as well. This is not the same as ability score loss from poison or other that are temporary.
