The combat rules started to stink in the horrible 4th edition. All the cool combat options were removed, and from what I've seen, they haven't been reintroduced in 5th. Which means, despite it being a very pretty book, I'm not going to pick it up, though I might get some of the supplements.In my limited experience thus far, combat still sucks in 5th edition. I agree with whomever pointed out the spell rules have been complicated a bit too much in this edition. I like 2nd edition best, but 5th is not too bad overall.
