(Reference: Page 31, Dungeon Master Guide 3.0 Edition)
In relation to the Fiendish Servant of the Blackguard prestige class. The explanation about the Blood Bond special ability says that the servant get some bonuses when the servant witnesses the blackguard threatened or harmed, and that this bonus last as long as the threat is immediate and apparent.
This happens when the blackguard is clearly going to be attacked or when he is actually being attacked? And the bonus is gone after the first attack to the Blackguard?
