But if i would have had an answer I love it but play other worlds I would have the anti eberronites saying you have two positive answers. So i am flipped any way i went. No i have not played it and i am not in a coma.

"Hey ENWorlders! Now that Eberron has been out for six months now, what are your impressions of it?

Rank the setting 1-5 ( 5 being best ! ) and post your thoughts and play experiences here!"

It's hard to make a poll that pleases everyone, but a straightforward one like this should be fairly simple...

I voted "I have not played it," because that's true, but it doesn't really reflect my answer: Yes, Eberron was everything I hoped it would be.

Along with the DragonMech core book, the Eberron CS is one of the only d20 books in the past couple of years that I devoured almost immediately, cover to cover. And it's a darned good book, beautifully produced and rich with ideas -- at least as much so as the FRCS, if not better.

Ah, but you could have had the following choices:

It is the only world I will play in
I enjoy Eberron, but play in other settings as well
I can take it or leave it
Meh, not my cup of tea, but I'll play in it if I have to
I find it a horrible world
What is this thing called Eberron?

This way you'd have a fanboy response, a positive but not exclusive option, a neutral option, a negative but not outright rejecting option, an anti-fanboy response, and a never heard of it choice (and for the record, I would have voted "I enjoy Eberron, but play in other settings as well" instead of the overly-positive response you offered us--I'm very excited to be running my new campaign in it, but still enjoy playing in other settings and genres too).

me being a gully dwarf the poll would look like this

how you like eberron

pick number

1

2

2

2

2

2

2

2

2
and
2

people would be posting well i see eberron more of a 4.5 so why did you not make it a base 10 poll for if you did i could have given it a 9 instead of the 5 i had to give it with only 5 choices. but then i make it a base ten poll and people would say why not a 1 to 100 so it gives you all the % so i could give it the 3.75 that it really is. And by the way i am joking i am no gully dwarf, I am not so lucky :(

Why is the only pro-Eberron choice, "All Eberron, All the Time"? Shouldn't there be a "Eberron is great, though I also play in other settings?"

I'm in this camp. I really, really liked the setting. I found it one of the more creative a fresj settings I have seen in quite some time, honestly. I think I like it better than 'take it or leave it' but not as strong as 'all the time.'

I told myself I wasn't going to like it before I bought it. I did not want to like it based upon the description but after rading it, I was won over and even convinced some others that it rocked.

As far as campaign systems go, I liked Iron Kingdoms better but Eberron - as a whole - was more clever.

I like the new rules, creatures, and stuff like that. Really like the art. It's also been a big source of inspiration for things I'd like to work with in upcoming games. Unfortunately, it came out about a month after my current campaign started. I'd like to run an Eberron campaign some time, but I'm content to mine it for ideas in the mean time.

Here's another vote for choice #6: "This poll is missing some choices." I love Eberron, and I think it's one of the best gameworlds ever published, but my group does play in other settings too.

I'm going to avoid the strange poll, but I am thrilled with Eberron. I do play in other settings (gearing up for a Midnight campaign) but Eberron is very cool. I rank it as one of the best campaign settings out there for d20. Others would include Midnight and Dawnforge.

Good for you. I personally love midnight! I find it a great world. But sorry to say from the looks oif it many people have no problem with my poll from my count it is ( counting fingers0 2 people who have voted in it (well 62 as of now.)
