There are quite a few aberrations in that book.

True: it just seems a good model fir a relatively generic Tier 4 Aberration threat (and I do think they will have something in there).

I guess they'll bringing up NPC Githzerai which were Aberrations in the recent Planescape campaign settings. PC Githzerai will remain as Humanoids.

Given a couple more doubling up videos, they should be able to cover all the Types before the book releases.

Beasts are going to be grouped with something else, since they're excluding anything fantastical from Beasts they're mostly things we know about like Wolves, Cats, Horses and Dinosaurs.

If I was to guess, it'll be with either Humanoids or Plants.
