My long-shot idea for the Fiends is that the piscoloth returns. I kinda doubt it will, but it's the one major yugoloth type missing in 5e so far.

I'm sure they could do some art to tweak things a bit to make them distinctive. Piscoloths only have four limbs, while chuul have six, so exaggerate its bipedalism, for example. The fiend art we've seen so far has put some new twists on old favorites anyway.

So, after Tuesday, we will have these remaining:

• Beasts
• Celestials
• Constructs
• Elementals
• Fey
• Fiends
• Giants
• Humanoids
• Plants

Given a couple more doubling up videos, they should be able to cover all the Types before the book releases.

Plants & Beasts going together seems obvious.

Maybe Constructs and Elementals?

Thematically Fiends and Celestials would be fun, but I think Celestials are getting alot if stuff this time as they were the second least supported creature type after Oozes, and far more important creature type lorewise then Ooze. We know Sphinxes are becoming Celestials, we know we got the Iota Empyrean is a thing, but I think that we might get some Archons & Guardinals in the MM too. Maybe something unexpected as well. I think Devas could get variants, but not separate stat blocks, kind of like how Animal Lords have Sage, Hunter, and Forager, but in the Devas case Astral, Modvic, and Modanic (probably screwed that up name wise). But there are alot of Fiends, but Incubus & Succubi are getting split up. But maybe if Fiends are getting that much new creatures it won't take too much, and they share Empyreans with Celestials anyways so maybe it could work.

Fey & Giants could work too.
