Politically Incorrect Games (PIG) is pleased to announce the release of Active Exploits Diceless Roleplaying Special Edition. This 5.5x8.5" 158-page softcover edition is packed with plenty of options for your diceless gaming experience, including integration with PIG's 2d6 and d10 house systems, genreDiversion i and Impresa Express respectively. You can even adapt your favorite ability/skill-based system to Active Exploits with the included conversion notes.
A universal diceless roleplaying system, Active Exploits is built around the concept of effort. Every person has the potential to exert energy in order to accomplish a task. Instead of using absolute ratings, Active Exploits allows players to vary the amount of effort exerted. You can split the effort up among multiple actions each turn or exert the character's full potential and risk overexertion.
Active Exploits offers three levels of play - basic, advanced, and Live Action (LARP). Plus, plenty of options can be mixed and matched for each. And that's not all, rules specific to magic, the occult, martial arts, and vehicles are also included.
Expandability and customizabilty are two more features of Active Exploits, allowing you to easily create new abilities, skills, and gimmicks for characters. It doesn't end there. Visit the Politically Incorrect Games Collaborative to share ideas, or borrow them to lend a hand when attempting to customize your playing experience.
Active Exploits officially hit retail shelves in June, but due to unforseen supply problems, quantities were limited. We now have plenty of copies, and the book is now also available directly from the Politically Incorrect Games web site.
PIG is now considering third party publishers for licenses to distribute their own commercial settings and products for Active Exploits. Small press and startup PDF publishers are welcome. Feel free to contact us via the PIG web site.
