AD&D SRD?

My gaming club is comprised on 5 people. One of which despises 3.5/3.0. Normally we play a balance of 3.5 and AD&D depending on the DM at the time. Now I'm playing a magic user and I'd like to read up on it a bit more in depth. Normally we simply use his books to role up characters and such but its a bit more challenging to sit down and read them. I went to the book store and found that they held no AD&D material (my local store barely holds any 3.5 books) and I need it by weeks end, so online is out of the question. Now to my point, is there an AD&D SRD somewhere online? Google-fu has failed me in this respect.

Don't be too sure. Check out some of the "buy it now" stuff on ebay and see how quickly they ship and how close they are to you. Also, ENGS has a whole slew of PDFs available for immediate download at very, very low prices.

Yeah, OSRIC is the closest you'll get. 3e was the first RPG to have a SRD like that, and there are only one or two others out there besides the 3e SRD, RuneQuest being one. Not a lot of game companies are willing to give away the bulk of their games for free.

Plus, to be honest, I've never had a problem with buying old AD&D stuff. If you're in a remote area, eBay, as MarkCMG says, is a good source.

I just realized that you're going to want to be sure which edition of AD&D is being used so you get the right book. There's a number of printings for each, as well, but you should be able to match it up with the cover shots at the online store or through this site -

I believe Paizo has everything available as pdf downloads, usually a $.95 cheaper than RPGNow. Plus I like the personalized marking they do. OSRIC is close, but I am pretty sure it is missing a lot of what you are looking for.

Actually, if you're just looking to roll up an AD&D MU, I think OSRIC will take care of you quite nicely.
