What are the rules if the characthers diagonosed with ADHD (Attention Defiant Hyperactivity Disorder)?

There's a flaw in Unearthed Arcana called "Inattentive" which bestows a penalty on Listen and Spot checks.

There's the flaw in UA, or you could just explain it away as the reason a character has a low Wis score.

Try roleplaying it.

I'd suggest you can't take 10s or 20s with out making some sort of will save.

He probably also meant character is rather than characthers.

And I think you need some additional mechanics for dealing with the hyperness as well as the attention deficit.

OR it may actually be defiant. In which case it means that the player is deliberately not paying attention to things not part of his/her belief system.
