Like I said, "Gee, now that you've admited how wrong you were Peter, we love you!"
Not me by a long shot. I don't hate the man but this 'observation' of the FUBAR situation doesn't make him okay in my book until something is done.
Mistwell said:Peter, assuming you are reading this, I'd like to offer a brief comment. The Gen Con website isn't particularly friendly to people after the pre-reg date passes. You cannot view the event schedule at that point, unless you attempt to trick the system into thinking you are pre-reged. In addition, near and at the date of the event, many of the pages still read "under contruction" (or something similar). This hurts entities like the press, who want to go there and get further information about scheduled events.
Thanks.

I don't like the fact that Peter Akinson cancel GenCon UK, but I think his reasoning is sound. I'm sorry you suffer for it, but there really nothing we can do. Only one man can save GenCon UK, and that man is:
Peter Adkinson![]()

No, Adkison killed Gencon UK. He might be able to resurrect it - possibly - but with his current move it seems that we'll have to rely on someone else to save it.
His reasoning wasn't sound. He took over an expanding con with a decent track record and a group of experienced partakers, and he appears to have quite royally buggered it up. Then he washes his hands of the resulting wreckage, leaving someone else to pick up the pieces. Nice one.
