Adobe interlocking cogs

Certain Adobe ads have been bugging me lately. They consists of a bunch of cogs, three of which interlock (with each other). There is also some text: "Work together better." (An image will be attached if all goes well.)

Now, as far as I can see there's no way three cogs connected like that can "work together" at all. Am I missing something, or is this a really messed up ad? :)

The principle of an advert is to sell a product, not necessarily to be scientifically accurate. But yeah, looks weird. ;)

Welcome to the wonderful world of superficiality advertising. In essence advertising doesn't promote intelligence, as it could be opposite to customers brainwashing.

The ad is actually a pic taken from just outside Regulus, on the plane of Mechanus. What you don't see is that the two small cogs don't actually touch each other; they both touch the big cog, but not at the same height. This is fairly clear from atop the Modron Cathedral, but the artist has clearly decided to use a perspective trick. ;)

Having just struggled with Acrobat Reader's desire to take over my machine and my browser, I'm in no mood to offer Adobe much leeway today.

Dagnabit. Leave my Mac alone!
