If I recall correctly, Ryan indicated that he is taking something in pill form to stimulate his appetite.

Marinol, I think (Correct me if I'm wrong, AB). Not supposed to be as efficient or effective as the Cheech and Chong Special, but there's no gross carcinogenic smoke in your lungs either.

I heard a track from the album by Warren Zevon today. The track was quite good, and had Don Henley and another member of the Eagles in the background.

It just goes to show that when some people are counted out, there is still some life left in them.

Time for more random support from the community...

Way to go! Keep on packing on those pounds and staying healthy! :)

It really makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see a community full of such damned friendly people giving support to one another. I love this place.

In case you don't get the reference, Warren Zevon has inoperable lung cancer and will die sometime in the near future. Despite this, if what I've heard on the radio is true, he has already outlived the original timetable they gave him, and he continues to record music, because he won't let his illness come between him and his passion.

I think Eric Noah and Morrus would also recommend a Hot Italian Beef.;)

It may have been Hot Italian Beef that put him in this situation in the first place ;). Glad to hear your doing better.

"Damn werewolves have been dropping like flies since they started mixing powered silver with the tobacco"

And back on-topic for this off-topic Topic - Ryan, it's great to hear that you have improved somewhat over the last week or so. Hang in there :-)

Yes. The point, however, is that an individual can beat the odds of a poor prognosis.

Warron Zevon also decided that in the time he had left, he was going to live the best life he could.

One should also remember that the typical prognosis in a fatal case is usually a worst case scenario.
