Your group successfully rides across the pit, and comes tot he other side of the room...

You inspect the passages before you,

The path to the south is dry and dusty, the path to the north looks damp and wet. Otherwise the passages see equal in choose neither leading readally up or down.

One-Who-Waits examines the walls of the passages, looking for more of the strange slime that they found previously, or indeed any other disquieting signs.

[sblock=roll]perception to examine passages (1d20+11=24)

If there's nothing too ominous about either passage, than my advanced deductive and divinatory techniques (I flipped a coin) say we should take the damp passage.[/sblock]

Psais raises his hand and speaks quietly as the group is pondering which course to take; "If we can afford to wait a short while, and it would be possible to utilise some of Grigo's powders, I could beg my moth... ahem! Um, my goddesses guidance in this matter. We would be able to pose three questions which could lead us by the quickest path to the surface. What say you all?"

Grigo, intently looking at both passages for clues as to dangers or what might have passed through recently (dungeonerring 17), looks up in response to Psais' suggestion. Certainly, you are welcome to anything I have. What items do you need? [sblock="ooc"] Grigo has 10 gp in Arcana and 10 gp in Nature ritual components remaining. [/sblock]

Psais smiles thankfully at the gnome, but his smile falls flat as he examines Grigo's components, "Unfortunately it seems that even combine our resources we would not have what is required for me to perform the ritual, I guess we just have to leave it to fate to decide for us."

[sblock=OOC]I didn't know you had to specify what type components are (ie divine/nature/arcane), not that we would have enough even if that is not the case.[/sblock]

I didn't know you had to specify what type components are (ie divine/nature/arcane), not that we would have enough even if that is not the case.
There are different components for each kind of ritual.
Alchemical Reagents (Arcana)
Mystic Salves (Heal)
Rare Herbs (Nature)
Sanctified Incense (Religion)
However that's really for your game at home. Here you can just buy
residuum and it acts as a component for any ritual. Most people just use this since you don't have to track 4 different items for rituals. I know I use it when I use rituals.[/sblock]
