Adv: Rhapsody; Judge: renau1g

Nyar pulls the vial of Rhapsody from inside his robe.

"There are other components in the potion, which we were not fully able to identify."

Nyar asks for the paperwork from Narvala and shows Bolger the information they obtained.

"Do you have any idea who this Alfred Q Pennysmith is? He may not be important, but at this point we don't know. What about this 'The Sky Nest' organization who seem to be behind this, do you know anything about them?"

The Halfling reads the documentation that Nyar presents to him, then he opens the vial, sniffs it, seals it back up and hands it back to Nyar.

"Well, the only thing I know is that someone has been pushing a new narcotic through Sharn. We've had a couple of cases of unexplained addiction here, but I didn't know that it was Dream Lily. Knowing that should help us here nicely. Yes. But, I know nothing else of whatever it is that you have yourself mixed up in."

"Hmmm. Pennysmith. Sounds like a fake name to me." Bolger sniffs. "And yes, it does seem like there might be Dream Lily in this vial. But, Dream Lily isn't a poison. It's a narcotic. It can be a very strong narcotic and addictive as well, but it's not a poison. You should get rid of this. It's not legal, you know."

Pausing for a moment, he continues.

"Skynest? Hmmm. I think I've heard of that place. It's some type of wealthy social club in Azure. You'll need to dress nicer, err, no offense, if you want to get into it. I doubt people with weapons and armor just walk into it. I seem to recall that Kenku work there. As if calling it a nest in the sky and having birdmen for waiters makes it somehow strongly connected to flight. HA! People think of the darndest things." he chuckles.

Veruza looks around, but sees nothing unusual or interesting. This just looks like a typical House Jorasco sitting room for relatives and friends of someone who is being nursed by the Halflings.

Narvala arched an eyebrow at the comment on their clothes, though she suspected that they were not directed at her. It did, after all, take a very good tailor -- and a little bit of magic -- to come up with robes that were suitable for both a formal dinner and field combat, and would survive both. Fortunately, compared to the ir'Sarhain family's resources, the costs of said robes -- which helped a lot in maintaining an officer's dignity even in a bloody battlefield -- were pretty insignificant.

"Master Bolger, would you able to analyze what else might be in the vial? Alchemy is not my specialty. I was hoping you might have someone here who could help analyze the potion. It may allow us more insight into the motivation of the people behind this. Why would they give people narcotics without their knowledge? What purpose would that serve?"

"Also, is this Melkin fellow other claim untrue? Are any House Jorasco employees missing or unaccounted?"

"Yes, I can have someone look into the contents of this vial. I don't understand why people do a lot of the things that they do." Bolger replies, frowning at the vial in his hands.

"As for missing Jorasco members, I haven't heard anything about that. I should probably go check into that immediately. If you don't have anything further, I have some work to go do." he says.

OOC: Still following, work is slowing down. I'll be back shortly. Luckily this isn't sort of thing Cairn is needed for :D

It seems that we aren't wanted here. Dirty job this is turning out to be. Let's see what information we can gather at less reputable places. Baern turns to go.

OOC: Intermittant here, my wife is due to have our baby any day now so I am working from home.

"Many thanks, Master Bolger. I appreciate your time and understanding."

Nyar follows Baern out.

"Do we all agree we delve into the depths once more before we climb the peaks? Let's go finish our search of the Battle Pitt and see if Gurg's boss Dhon is able to answer some of these questions."

As the group heads off, Nyar comments, "Lady Veruza, did you notice the entity controlling Gurg seemed to be particularly annoyed by your 'heritage'?"

He looks up and down the street as they travel along, "Everyone keep an eye out. It wouldn't surprise me if we were followed."

[sblock=congrats] Congrats JM1! Wishing you and your family a healthy start! [/sblock]
