The team enters the Key Sip. Except for the different employee, it looks the same as the day before with a wide variety of unusual odds and ends: herbs, animal parts in jars, dried plants. There are no other patrons at the moment.

"Good morning. Let me know if I can be of assistance." the matronly woman says.

Cairn looks as if he's about to speak, rumble starting that announces his speech, but he then closes his mouth and remains silent.
"Could I have some Rhapsody please? I'm needy again." echo his rigid thoughts through Veruza

He looks for the holes in the walls or other means of observation of the shop.

I don't understand who Cairn it projecting his thoughts to "through Veruza".

The shopkeeper? Or one of the other PCs?

Note: Group Mindlink is for communicating with allies, so if you were trying to use it for the shopkeeper (typically considered an Extra until illustrated otherwise, not an Enemy or an Ally), Veruza would have to consider her an ally.

Also, Cairn doesn't see any holes or other observation points.

No, I don't intend to project to the shopkeeper. It was intended to show Cairns directness and then understanding that his other companions would do better with talking. And CaBaNa said he's keeping us connected at the moment so Veruza would 'hear' what Cairn intended to say.

Veruza nods at Cairn, moving to him as if she were concerned for his health. Madam, says Veruza, My bodyguard is in need of medicine, looking around conspiratorially, the kalashtar leans in, something exotic, off-market, you know... she winks, and tilts her hand in a drinking motion, something that could help him forget a long day...

Narvala stayed just outside for this; the presense of an obvious priestess of the Silver Flame -- and not one of those idiots from the Cathedral here in Sharn -- would certainly be a bit off-putting to their investigation.

Veruza looks Cairn up and down, Double the usual dose, he's too big for anything less. Euphoria, Rhapsody, I don't know what they call it here... What I pay, depends on quality. I'd like to be quick about it as well. Veruza looks over her shoulder, as if a guard might be looking on, even as she spoke. When she turns back, its as if she is taking in the woman again for the first time. Your figure looks fantastic in that ensemble, so lithe!

"I can sell you four vials. 5 GP each, not a copper less." the woman says, pulling four vials out from behind the counter and placing them on top. "Let's see your money." she says, keeping her one hand on top of the four vials while she holds out her other hand for the coins.

Nyar enters with Veruza and Cairn, but appears to interest himself in newt knuckles and toad wart extract a little while from the counter. However, he keeps a very close eye on the conversation, attempting to determine any falseness in the woman, her demeanor, voice or actions.
