[Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

[SBLOCK=OOC]Nice for Morko.

I was forgetting, I made my Save (1d20=14) against the ongoing poison damage.

Edit: I also forgot the +2 damage form my transformation. Added it to the roll up here.[/SBLOCK]

Ghorgor enthusiastically mill around with his hammer, lightly injuring the zombie in the process.

-''Ghorgor tough! You no able to take Ghorgor down!''

A good thing that he is tough, because at the rate he is going, the Zombie will have a lot of opportunities to test Ghorgor's toughness.

[sblock=Actions]
Start of turn: Resist 5 to damage is still in effect until the end of this turn so he resists the cold damage of the chillborn.
Move: Shift if required to flank with Morko

Minor: Mark the Zombie

Standard:
Aspect of Elevated Harmony vs Zombie AC (1d20+7+2=14, 2d10+5=21)

Oh snap. Ghorgor is headed for a career start worthy of Ashir.

At least, this attack does half damage, so 10 points of damage.

The effect line also allows Ghorgor to Spend a HS, which he does to go back to hull HP.

He also gains the following augment option for the rest of the fight:

Augment 1.
Effect: You gain temporary hit points equal to 7. In addition, choose a single creature hit by the at-will attack. That creature takes 2 extra damage

AP: Iron Fist +1 augment (Aspect of Elevated Harmony)
Iron fist vs Zombie (1d20+7+2=14, 1d10+5=15)

Of for the love of...

At least:
Effect: I gain resist 2 to all damage until end of next turn and 7 temp HP.

Ghorgor is a wall. As hard to take down and about as dangerous so far. At least I marked the zombie so he'll have to attack me.

I think Charina stole all the available luck. She didn't miss once in her battle. Someone had to pay for that and it is poor Ghorgor.

PS: FYI I am trying to switch to always using the current character name when using IC rolls as opposed to always using Mal Malenkirk. But sometime I forget and reverts back to using Mal Malenkirk...

Morko grunts as another wave of cold tears at his wounds, most of them openly weeping chilled blood. A snarl overcomes his face and with a mighty bellow, he furiously chops again and again at the dead body, not even pausing for breath. Gore and ichor fly about him. Finally noticing Ghorgor, the half-orc tries to move into a superior position.

Seeing the new foe before him, Fissure does not miss a bit and rolls his tree trunk over his shoulder to build up momentum before twirling it at the zombie. He then leaps backwards, using his massive club as leverage, to land on the table behind him, cracking it only slightly. Upon landing, he takes a centering breath and seems more solid somehow.

Calisto disengage to get out of reach of the dragons and try to attack the zombie, but seems unable to hit it. You are too stress, girl, let me show you. She then send a powerful wave of psychic energy mixed with the dark force of teh Oni and solidely hit the flying man.

Nejs moves back to Callisto, sensing something changing in her. His spear attack targets the pseudodragon, but on a hit, Morko will also feel it's energy.

Ghorgor enthusiastically mill around with his hammer, lightly injuring the zombie in the process.

A good thing that he is tough, because at the rate he is going, the Zombie will have a lot of opportunities to test Ghorgor's toughness.

The archers are the first to test the goliath's toughness as arrows fill the air, but Ghorgor proves the better.

The zombie turns towards him and the punch from the monster is powerful as the chill roots Ghorgor in place.

The door behind Callisto opens, finally, and Billar rushes in, standing protectively next to her "Don't worry, I'll keep you safe" he whispers, catching the surprised dragon with his warhammer. Somehow, the tiefling feels safer with him around.

The dragon's turn their focus to Nejs, confused by the dwarf's appearance and unwilling to attack a member of the company. Billar smacks the beast as it heads towards Nejs and the attack sends it well off course and the attack is foiled. However the other pseudodragon manages to strike with its tail and the poison of the beast enters his veins.

The wand-wielder flies closer "Billar? What are you doing? You know our arrangement!" the man shouts, but the dwarf retorts back "Yeah, well deal's off, whatcha doing here ain't right".

The man's face is crimson as he blasts Billar with a beam of fire and then tosses one towards Nejs for good measure.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Last round, the Wand man tried to immobilized Fissure, attacking him at 1d20+5. This round too, but he has a -4 penalty to attack. Am I missing something or should the penalty apply?[/SBLOCK]

[SBLOCK=OOC]Another thing, the Wand Guy should have received 2 more damage. I forgot to add my Diabolic Transformation in the first post, but warned about it in the next post. You seems to have miss it.

I'll wait to see Morko or Ghorgor action before attacking. If I can get a +2 to hit against a bloodied zombie. We better get one of them now as soon as possible.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=OOC]If I took 8 points of damage, I should be 34/35 since I had 7 thp before the attack.

It's really a good thing that Ghorgor is tough...

Looking at the HP, I see that Ghorgor would have killed the zombie if both attack had hit. Ugh. Cruel, cruel reality that mess up the best laid plans.[/sblock]

Morko snarls under his breath as it is chilled by the frost pouring off the zombie. Waiting for a feint from Ghorgor, the barbarian uses the opening to burry his axe into the creature's back, cutting it deeply. The sight of the foe's viscera seems to put a step back into Morko's swing.

Nearby, the other zombie drools at the implacable Fissure, whose centering inures him to the undead's deadly chill. The goliath leans back a moment in order to adjust his grip on his dead tree—this time he wields it like a ram directly at the zombie's center. It thumps heavily, but dully, the bloated dead's icy coating ablating the blow. Unfazed, Fissure rolls the log around and springs into the air, ignoring the dead one's counter attack. As he leaps by the wizard, he reaches out with a long arm, attempting to crush the smaller man in his larger grip as he falls...[sblock=Actions (May need changing depending on ruling)]Morko: Recuperating Strike vs Z: Hits (AC 20), 16hp and 7 THP.

Fissure (may need changing if r1 doesn't like): Take no aura damage due to Stone's Endurance. Crane's Wing vs Z: Likely miss (Fort 13), 14hp and would be pushed to -A-4. Regardless, use move action to long jump: 37 for a 7.4 square long jump and 1.8 squares high at 3.7 squares. That means he can get to A-2 (or B-1) and be almost 10' in the air which is enough to reach for a Grab attack after spending an AP: Ref 18, 6 damage from Flurry of Blows (Grabbing is an attack), and then we fall. Fissure falls less than 10 feet, so no damage but he'll make an Acrobatics to try to remain standing if possible: 26. Note: Still has resist 5 for any OA the zombie makes (which hopefully misses or all of the above is for moot).[/sblock][sblock=Morko]4+7/29 - bloodied, 8/10 HS, AP used, Raging[/sblock][sblock=Fissure ]Fissure—Male Goliath Stone Fist Monk
