[Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

-''Tricky dragon!'' Ghorgor grunts as the beast flies away and he fails to strike it. He then moves next to Callisto, over the hole, and readies himself to play whack-a-mole.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Do I need to roll for the AoO from Calisto?[/SBLOCK]

Calisto remove the sands in her eyes and use her staff to ward herself again the next coming attack.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Standard: Full defense.

Also, I completely forgot it during all the combat, the next attack that hit me by 4 or less, I use intellect fortress.[/SBLOCK]

The group stands around for 6 seconds waiting, then 6 more seconds, then another 6 seconds.... but nothing further appears. The dragon appears to follow the old adage about discretion being the better part of vaolour and fled. The only sounds left are the moaning of the unconscious kobolds, although you can tell they'll likely be awake soon.

Just a reminder about the ko'ing rules. If you plan to use healing surges/ardent bonus please do it one at a time, not sure if you'll get more than 1 in ;)

Knocking Creatures Unconscious

When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points or fewer, you can choose to knock it unconscious rather than kill it. Until it regains hit points, the creature is unconscious but not dying. Any healing makes the creature conscious. If the creature doesn’t receive any healing, it is restored to 1 hit point and becomes conscious after a short rest. [/sblock]

[sblock=Final Combat Stats]
Ghorgor - 41/46 - resist 2 TENT
J'yri - 10/29, 3 surges used, bloodied, used 1 AP
Willow - 15/25, used 2 surges, used 1 AP
Calisto - 4/30, used 3 surges, bloodied
Nejs - 10/33, used 2 surges

Calisto takes all the weapons of the kobold. She then takes some rope from her backpack. "We could tie them up or just throw them in the hole over there... or maybe both."

Nejs Ragan, Half-Elf Ardent 2

"I say we will do both, but keep one up for questioning." Nejs suggests as he tries to recalibrate his powers to knit his wounds.

-''Ghorgor always wait by blocks of six second... is too hard to count higher.'' the goliath comments. ''Okay, we tie kobold now. If dragon come back, we deal then.''

[sblock=OOC]Spends a healing surge to get full, not need for bonuses. 13/14 left and still got my two daily powers. Ghorgor is fresh as a rose.[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]I'm not a fan of multiple short rest, but if I spend 3 more HS to get to 25/30, I'll have only 2 HS left... With 2 Ardent Surge, I could hope to save at least 1 HS... either I was not lucky, or I am a bad tactician with her or a defender here doesn't do his job.[/SBLOCK]

Fissure helps disarm, pick up, and toss kobolds into the hole.[sblock=OOC]The dragon snuck up on us; no fault there. And you had one defender assist most of the time.

Fissure will spend 1 HS to get to full; 7/8 remaining.[/sblock]

Panting and bloodied, J'ryi only has enough energy to secure his original prisoner, as much using the kobold as a support while he catches his breath as keeping a hold on him.

[sblock=OOC] J'ryi will spend 2 surges and get back up to 28/29 HP. 6/11 surges remaining. Not too terrible considering how many times I was getting hit and crit that encounter...[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=OOC]I'm also down to 5 of 10. But I can do it, if you wish. Please roll the 2d6 for your extra healing.[/SBLOCK]
