[Adventure]: Bosch's Revenge (DM: Dimsdale, Judge ??)

OOC: Moved Xerzuzu and Nementah. I moved Sigarr too since it seems renau1g is missing in action for the moment. Only Walking Dad remains...

"Xerzuzu, move in front of Primera. The rest of you, gather around."

Nementah moves next to her unicorn and waits.

When everyone gets into position, Nementah calls upon spirits of the forest and roots shoot out of the ground twinning around the heroes in ever tightening grasp. The rootlets latch onto armor, skin and clothes and suddenly relax, tough new layer growing over everyone. Few shoots snap as the people move, but such is the power of natural growth that it simply regrows into adjusted position. Now everyone looks like one of the People I mean wildens not elves of course.

[sblock=Actions]
Wait until everyone moves

Minor: Protective Roots, everyone adjacent to Primera gets resist all 5 until the end of the encounter

Other actions to follow

"Let's get it! Casters, archer, get those dragons down here!"

Rocco is in L12. JRYoung/Skaliss, now that you know we can move before the powers are used, maybe you should move to M11 so that the zone extends over the dragon? That would allow us to move around him and still remain in the zone...

Walking Dad...dimsdale said we have to wait for Skaliss action and his description, you just have to move adjacent to Primera...not run in front of everyone. The dragon is immune to your attack until Skaliss goes.

dimsdale

First Post
All set. dimsdale, let's get this show started!

GM: You got it. :)
Walking Dad: Vimak's attack action takes place after what happens next

As the paladin presents his shield to the massive dragon, but the shield and the amulet begin to intensify in color: the amult begin a deep blood red and the shield glowing a searing hot light blue.

What is this magic...

Before the dragon can continue, both the shield and the amulet blasts beams of blue and red light respectively at each others, with the rays meeting at the midpoint between the paladin and the dragon. Both Skalisss and the dragon stand rigid as the try to maintain their balance from the recoil of the powerful rays of light. A minute goes by as the artifact and relic seemed locked in an eternal battle, which finally ends with a massive explosion of light and a clap of loud thunder.

As the light fades away the paladin still holds the shield, although the orbs that were once embedded in the shield are no longer there. And the amulet, which once rested on the next of the massive dragon, is now longer visible.

nnnnNNNNOOOOOOOOOO! What have you done? You will pay for this with your lives!

GM: It's the party's turn :)

OOC: Chief of chiefs?! You really throw the references all over the place :)

"Xerzuzu, let's get on the other side of the beast for the moment! We need to distract him!"
True to her order, wilden shamaness races incredibly fast around the dragon, collecting her bat-like companion on the way. Green and gold swirls on their wake as they go partially into feywild. They end their racing on the other side of the great dragon.

Nementah calls the spirits to haunt Bosch, but even flustered, great dragons will is too strong.

FourMonos, renau1g, Walking Dad, JRYoung, the dragon has vulnerable 10 to all weapon attacks (save ends) and is -2 to defenses - do your worst :)

Who made entangling roots? Is that difficult terrain for everyone or just enemies?

Rocco bounds away as soon as the amulet disappears.
"Every magic has it's counter somewhere. Relying on such is folly. Your dementia must be contagious, look at that man. Idiot dragon. Mere beast...barely."

Whirling dervish falls on the dragon, spinning and chopping, great rends appearing on the black scales. Even small dagger in Roccos hand seems threatening suddenly.

[sblock=Actions]
Move: J9
Minor: Dancing defense, on hit Rocco makes free MBA against different enemy or shifts 1 and gains +2 bonus to AC and Reflex TENT
Standard: Bone Crusher vs Bosch AC; damage (1d20+18+2=37, 3d8.minroll(2)+11=32) - Bosch is MARKED and gains vulnerable 10 to weapon attacks (lucky us, melee heavy party!), Rocco gains +1 AC & Ref vs him, shifts to K9 and gain +2 AC & Ref TENT

AP: Villain Menace vs Bosch AC; damage (1d20+18+2=37, 2d8.minroll(2)+11=22) - +10 from vulnerable +3 from marked scourge = 35

dimsdale, does Vimak's crit come before this? That is, is the dragon debuffed for this atacks? Only potentially impacts the last one :)

Not sure if ring is still there:
Ring damage for each attack (1d6=5, 1d6=2, 1d6=2)

SUMMARY: Bosch is marked, takes 67+7 (if shadow ring is still on Rocco) (+ potentially 26 if AC <= 29 or 31)
