Adventure Compilation Book #1

BASTON!!!

First Post
Hello everyone! A few years ago, AEG published many fantasy mini-modules. Here,

http://www.enworld.org/reviews/index.php?sub=yes&where=publist&which=Alderac+Entertainment+Group

the reviews are pretty much average. But AEG made the "Adventure Compilation Book #1",

http://www.cyberdungeon.com/Generated/Products/16369935.html

"AEG has compiled, updated and expanded the original adventures utilizing the revised 3.5 d20 rules with new maps, new text, and new plot hooks, including rewritten and expanded sections provide more balanced encounters and deeper challenges...Perfect bound Adventure #I links 24 of the best original AEG Adventures Keeps together into one giant plot thread, allowing PCs to advance from the 1st to the 13th level."

I can't find any reviews on this product, does anyone knows if it is good? Is it only Dungeon crawling or is there any role-play? Etc.

Thanks for your comments! :)

If it's any good? I haven't read it yet, just browsed through it, but it's good as in it's 3.5 rules, they are small adventures, and there's 24 of them for $29.95. The adventures seem varied, from an 'dungeon' of the barrow king, to encounters in villages, to encounters on a boat.

I didn't expect 24 epic adventures, but rather 24 cheap adventure hooks (around $1.25 per adventure hook). If/when i am unexpectdly called uppon to DM a session in short notice i can pickup this book, browse around and find something of appropriate level, read 10 pages, make some notes and am ready for a DMing session. An hour would affort me with enough preperation to read the adventure, make adjustments for higher/lower level, make adjustments so the story fits in the campaign, and make enhencements to the story (personalize).

Don't expect epic adventures, but short and loose 'one-night-stands'.
