Adventure Conversion Guidelines

With all of these 1E/2E adventures being converted, and being a fool that is about to embark on a conversion project of my own, I was wondering if anyone had put together a guideline for converting adventures.

Looking for something that incorporates a discussion of the philosophy of conversion, as well as the mechanics.

Anyone got any ideas?
