[sblock=OOC]Tondrek already has one summon in play next to Rhona (his last action); it works best when near a creature that is marked (it does 1hp damage; not much, but it adds up) and also as OAs.[/sblock]

Tamarand steps forward and hurls more meteors into the sewer, he calls out "Tondrek, get your friend out of the way, I can blast more of them it its not there"

[sblock=OOC]
Standard: Blazing Starfall - try to catch W2 and the dragon in the blast - vs ref (W1, dragon); radiant damage (1d20+9=16, 1d20+9=22, 1d4+11=15) hits Ref 16 (W2) and 22 (dragon) for 15 radiant. My goal is to catch 2 enemies, so switch out W1 for whoever I can catch in a burst 1 around the dragon.
Move: To catch the dragon in my attack (but staying 10 away)

[sblock=Actions]Tondrek goes after Tamarand, so the summon won't be there during Tamarand's turn. Its better for the creation to be near the baddies as he does damage to every adjacent marked creature.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]
Oh, I know that, but Tamarand doesn't. Besides, I'm sure the monsters will all be moved around next turn and he can hopefully hit 2 enemies this turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc/Evo]Evo when you update can you put the dragon on the map please? Also there are still two S2's marked on the map.

In answer to Vertexx's question, the summoned Maw cannot fly. If I summon it up on the platform it will basically be stuck there (and the caster can just fly away from it). Otherwise yeah, it would be great to just sic it on that guy.

Also I hadn't noticed that the caster moved to the platform at the back of the room. That puts it out of range of Hypnotic Pattern (it's 4 squares up from the ground). Roswyn would have to move fully into the room to get it into range. It might be better for Rohna to pull back and force the caster to follow. If it comes back to platform C I can try the Hypnotic Pattern trick on it. Easier said than done though, Rohna won't have the easiest time in the world pulling back right now.

I could drop Grasping Shadows on W2 and S2, however this would create a zone that would damage Tondrek's summon when it appears. Or I could just try hypnotic pattern at T18, T19 or T20 to try to pull W1, W2 and S2 closer to the center of the room, giving Rohna some space.

Not sure what to do... I think I need to see where the dragon is in any case before deciding on my move. Sorry for the dithering. :)[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Both baddies make their saves. saves (1d20+5=13, 1d20=20) The dragon sank beneath the water, into the pit, thus is not targetable.[/sblock]

Shava starts to make for her pack, but the dragon's acid lingers burning her flesh. The loss of flesh is too much and she falls.

[sblock=ooc] Map is otherwise the same, so I'll wait to update once I get a post from ryryguy.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]OK, I'll go with the pattern... not sure it's the greatest move, but hopefully it will clump up the meleers and give us a chance to regroup a bit. I can actually target all 4 of them.[/sblock]
Roswyn curses at the spellcaster who has flown out of reach. She concentrates on closer targets, launching a spell at the surface of the water in their midst. Colors and shapes dance making enticing reflections.

Seeing Tondrek in trouble, Roswyn takes a deep breath, concentrating her willpower and running through a complicated sequence of sigils in her mind's eye. With a ripping sound a small gate opens horizontally in mid-air in front of the half-orc. A moment later, a... thing drops out of the gate with an obscene squish. Shadows cover its form, preventing a clear view, but its body is lumpy and wriggling. A huge slathering mouth emerges from the shadows. It snaps threateningly at the nearest kobolds.

Hang on, Shava...

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Hypnotic Pattern at T21. Targets all 4 kobolds on the surface. Might be able to target the dragon too depending how deep down he is, so I'll go ahead and roll for him. CA vs. W1 and D since they are prone. (Takes place at the start of their turn so Tondrek's servant still gets to do its autodamage to S2 and W2.)
Pattern vs S1, W1 (w/CA), S2, W2, D(?, w/CA) (1d20+11=31, 1d20+11+2=16, 1d20+11=21, 1d20+11=31, 1d20+11+2=29) Vs Will, probably hits most except maybe W1.

If hit they are slowed TENT... and pulled towards T21. Let's say W2 to U20, S2 to T21, S1 to T22. If W1 is hit pull him to R21 into the pit, try to get him in the dragon's way! If D is hit, don't pull him at all (let him get out of the pit on his own!) but he's still slowed, which would help very slightly.

Minor: Summon Abyssal Maw at T23.

Reactions/Interrupts: Use Shield to prevent a hit. Use Fade Away if hit.

the maw can make an opportunity attack against that enemy after the enemy's attack is resolved.

Tamarand steps forward and hurls more meteors into the sewer, he calls out insults at the kobolds near Rohna. The meteors explode over the pair, denting armor, and burning misshapen flesh.

[sblock=ooc]Both hit.[/sblock]

Tondrek blinks in surprise as his bolt hits home and is staring when the kobold slices him and the acid from the dragon washes over him. Whining loudly, he cries out when he sees Shava fall. At the same time, he sees the many cuts on Little Big Girl as well. Too many hurty hurts. Too many hurty hurts. Too many hurty hurts. He closes his eyes and makes a choice.

Tondrek's free hand detatches another clockwork mechanism on his shoulder, and with a few quick gestures, infuses it with more life-giving magic. It rolls off the shelf and through the muck, underneath the armormed kobold and right under Rhona. It then explodes in a spray of arcane magic, coating the goliath's wounds and lending her strength. But at the same time, the elemental-infused metal seems to unfold and expand until a spindly thing barbs and spines stands aside Rhona, jabbing as the goliath keeps them distracted. But the halfork's internal turmoil prevents him from fighting off the acid and his leg wound.

Round 4 Combat Actions:

The coiling green spirals of regenerative energy chase the crimson flames over the surface of the fighter's armor, almost completely negating their burn, but not extinguishing them. Rohna decides to take a breath instead of continuing the assault for the moment and increases her defenses at the same time. "Many thanks again good Tondrek for the assistance!" Mitra steps up onto the surface of the water and shifts forward over the place where the dragon vanished below the surface, growling down into the murky sewage.
