Tamarand quickly fires another volley of flaming meteorites at the kobolds in front of him, but his mount begins moving an instant before he was ready and the drow nearly falls out of the saddle. The attack is ruined.

The meteorites crash to the ground around them, sending chips of rock through the air. The kobolds grin at the drow.

Seeing that he still has a chance to make a decisive turn in this battle, Cleaver readies himself and then draws energy from the flagstones of Sharn itself, dropping his weapon like the millions of bricks beneath their feet. Cleaver's axe slams into the slinger's chest, rending flesh and cracking bone. The kobold falls limp on the blade of the weapon, and the warforged looks for another victim.

[sblock=ooc]Cleaver gains 9 temp hp and kills the slinger. Want to use swift charge?[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc questions]
Sigh... I knew the kid was going to do that.

Evo, what's the situation with the kobold's wagon, is it blocking terrain or what? I was considering putting Hypnotic Pattern on it, to try to clear Harkin's path, at least.

Alternatively, could I use Hypnotic Pattern against Harkin to pull him back into the alley? Technically he's not an enemy...
[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Okay, let me see if I can say this right...You can see through the wagon in the North/South direction. Imagine it like a covered wagon, I guess. You can't see through from the East/West side though. I think the best you could do is put the pattern in O12. That will clear the way so he doesn't take OA.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Ok, I think I understand... so he could actually go THROUGH the wagon from the north to the south, right? Then I will just try to slide K2 out of the way or maybe put the pattern around Q16 to pull K2 out of the way, so he can go through Q13 safely. (Assuming he will listen to Roswyn and go through the wagon... well, there's only so much I can do if he absolutely insists on getting himself killed...)

Although, if he gets in the wagon, could a kobold in theory get in and drive away? The wagon is overturned or wrecked or something, right?

(I'll post my actual move in a little while.)[/sblock]

Round 1 Action:

Rohna's armor flows over her body like lava down a mountainside as she swings her hammer around her head and brings it down on the caster again. And now Mitra moves over the fallen storekeeper.

[sblock=Vertexx69]Did you remember the +1 to hit (and +3 damage) from Tondrek's magic weapon? It might make a difference here!

Also, looks like you forgot to summon your armor this time - enough showing off how tough you are! Cover yourself! ;)[/sblock]

Roswyn rolls her eyes as Harkin bursts out of the skycoach. The hardest part of this job isn't the opposition... it's getting your damn fool client to listen to your advice...

She steps out of the coach and holds her orb aloft to catch the sunlight. The crystal briefly gleams with white light, then a prism of colors leaps out towards the side of the wagon. It expands and pools around the feet of the remaining kobold slinger, where it scintillates enticingly.

OOC: Still slightly unsure about the wagon situation, if it's obvious that the wagon is immediately and easily drivable by a kobold, she will not give this advice to Harkin.

"HARKIN!" she screams. "GO AROUND THE LIGHTS, GO THROUGH THE WAGON! THEN GRAB YOUR PA AND PULL HIM INTO THE WAGON!"

[sblock=Actions]Move action: Move to N7
Standard action: Hypnotic Pattern on Q17.
(Immediate action: Roswyn will use Fade Away if she is hit by an attack.)

Hypnotic pattern will not actually affect the kobolds until they start their turns in its area, which means after Tondrek's turn. Here is the roll:
Hypnotic Pattern vs K2, S1, W (1d20+9=18, 1d20+9=19, 1d20+9=12)

I'm pretty sure that will hit K2 and S1 but not W. Hopefully W will be dead, anyway.
Pull K2: P14->Q15->Q16
Pull S1: P16->Q17
And both are slowed until end of Roswyn's next turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]I'll update tomorrow, I'm getting tired. It will give Vertexx time to edit and summon armor. Also, the wagon could be again boarded by the kobolds, but they have more important things to worry about. Like the warforged that just cut one of their friends in half.[/sblock]
