[Adventure] Dirty Money: (The Final Encounter; Rohna, Tondrek up)[Judge: THB]

Puffing after catching up, Tondrek waggles his intricate staff and yells BOOM! at the prone kobold before him. His enthusiasm does not translate to effectiveness. Sparks fall over the kobold's prone form, but it pulls it's cloak around it, shielding it from harm.

Tamarand pulls up on the reins, twisting his neck back and away to stop the charging lizard. He quickly points his daggers at the prone kobolds, but after the exertion of the chase his aim is not what it usually is. One of the kobolds take a sparkling meteor to the ribcage, but the others creatures are missed by the projectiles.

Rohna charges the staff wielding caster in an effort to end its controlling antics before they can even start. The hammer falls with a bone crunching thwump into the skull of the caster. And it seems like a portion of its life force flows up over her shining plate armor and into its joints as well as soaking directly into the skin of her face in a series of tiny red wisps of smoke. The effect makes the crystaline deposits on her skin and her eyes flare bright red for a moment before they fade back to normal.

The gnome notes the pair of kobolds to either side of the horses, and watches Cleaver charge the pair to her right, leaving the others a clear path to her and the halfling boy. She sighs. Can't be helped... my fault anyway... what was I thinking, trying to surround these scum?

She spins the crystal orb in her palm and holds it aloft. Flames erupt around the kobolds near Cleaver.

Cleaver moves out of the aircoach. The warforged adjusts to the change in altitude, momentarily dizzy. Shaking himself from whatever momentary stupor overcame him Cleaver rushes forward, hoping to end this battle sooner rather then later. The warforged strikes at the kobold, but his stupor combined with the agile reptilians makes the him miss.

It hits with a sickening thud and a flash of power, empowering Rohna's own weapon. The kobold's arm hangs limp at it's side, but then it stands, barely. The other kobolds, their heads still spinning from their fall, take inspiration from their leader and stand as well.

"Pa! Pa!" Harkin says, as he rushes toward his father, ignoring Roswyn's pleas.
