[sblock=ooc]I'll give you guys at most 48 hours to come to a majority decision on your plan of action. Don't forget wishlists on your character sheets, otherwise future treasures are up to me. I know renau prefers gold as of now.[/sblock]

Rohna exits the Shard with the others. She scratches under Natasha's chin which elicits a satisfying ney. "How you folks feel about a little fire round the back to draw attention? And it sounds like there is probably some kind of underground part of the place where they go throwing their...captives, so maybe we should stable our mounts for this one? I don't like the idea of just leaving them standing in the streets of the kobold district if we're going indoors for more than even a few minutes. Half the group is walking already anyway."

Shava hangs by the back of the group for a moment, trying to figure out what's going on. It certainly sounds like this place is in the city. As much as I'd like some money, I'd also not like a criminal record.

"Can someone give me the quick version of what's going on? I mean are these kobolds and or undead under the city or in a populated area? We don't want to just start lighting buildings on fire. Especially if there is a front, and it sounds like there is.

"They've never met Brenron or I, is there no chance we can't just walk on in? Honestly, we could even empty out a backpack and carry Roswyn in with us. That's half the group."

As she spoke, she put her hands out and let the rain run over her face. A good omen.

[sblock=ooc]I havn't managed to read the thread yet, so I really would like a quick update.

But as I understand it, the Dancing Kobold is some kind of bar? Even if Brenron and I just got the door open (I have an excellent Diplomacy), the rest of the group could charge in from across the street, causing a minimum public disturbance.[/sblock]

Tamarand chuckles at the thought of Roswyn in the dwarf's backpack, "You are probably right about the fire, it could easily spread and then we'd have to deal with the guards. Probably wouldn't be so nice this time, maybe we'd end up like that warforged. If the two (or three) of you want to go first, then have a signal for the rest of us that might work. I can be pretty close out of sight" the drow says.

[sblock=Story so Far]
So, we were approached by a boy in the tavern, said his old man was being hustled by kobolds, we went to help, they were messing up his store, we fought them, hard battle. We won, then they tried to run with the dad. We stopped them in a dramatic chase, damaging their wagon, then we fought the survivors, saving the dad, then ending up back in the tavern with a kobold captive. We turned over the otehrs to the guards and agreed to split up any coins from selling the kobolds gear with them to turn the other way. We found out the location of the bar (Dancing Kobold) from the prisoner, now here we are.

[sblock=Other Plot Points]Most of the other shops in the area of the halfling's shop have been abandoned after the owner's had been hustled by the kobold gang as well and then vanished. We found out that the owner had been thrown into some sort of dungeon where they may or may not have become some sort of undead. So now we are going to clean out the rest of the kobold gang (black dragon worshipers [acid]) before any more business owners disappear.[/sblock]

-''These kobolds sounds like a major economic threat! Kol Korran willing, we will mop them up and earn ourselves a proper rewards.

Hum... You know, these kobolds are pretty stupid if they have chased away most of the store owners while trying to hustle them. The idea is to squeeze them, not bleed them dry! Not that extorsion is acceptable, but if you do it, do it right! You chase them, you lose your golden goose.

Anyway, I don't have much in the way of a plan. Let's get in and bash their head in. Always worked for my daddy. When dealing with kobolds and goblins, I mean.''

[sblock=ooc]Vote time!
Bash the doors down: 1 (Brenron)
Mind before muscle: 3(Tamarand, Rohna, Shava)

Just need votes from Tondrek and Roswyn. One vote for subtlety will decide it. More than likely that will be the result, what kind of plan are you going to take. Have Brenron and Shava go in first, since they are not linked to the initial troublemakers? Have some people try and sneak in the back door?

"Oh you can be assured, there is going to be plenty of head bashing." Shava said with a smile to Brenron. "If we think this is a large complex, possibly with underground levels, I don't advise splitting up for more than a minute, it could quickly become much larger."

She pauses for a moment in thought. "No it seems to me, that the best thing to do would be for Brenron and myself to walk up, and convince them to let us in." Another look to the dwarf. "I should be able to manage that. As soon as the door is open, I summon up a gust of wind, pushing the guards inside with us, because of course there will be guards. Benron will make sure anyone who looks like they might flee, might not. We then hold the door, for the ten seconds it takes the rest of the group, to run in from around the corner. The door shuts and we begin our systematic removal of the threat."

Tondrek looks up a moment while everyone is talking. As he tugs on the interwoven chain he said Don't leave Tondrek. People not come back when they do that.

OOC: Don't split; brain over brawn first.
